Last of the Summer Wine Run (Jul 24 2011)

RESCHEDULED FROM JULY 17TH DUE TO BAD WEATHER. 

A run over to Holmfirth on the edge of the Peak District to take in the great roads including the WOODHEAD Pass with its stunning views.

We will be meeting at Threeways Shell garage, Abergele (off junc 24, A55) at 0930 hrs for a1000hrs departure. We will be travelling along the A55 to Chester where we will join the A51 before making our way to Holmfirth via Northwich, Macclesfield, Chapel en le firth, Glossop and onto Holmfirth. We will stay in Holmfirth for about 2hrs, enough time for you to explore ‘Norah Battys Cafe’ and enjoy the relaxed atmosphere of the town.

We will then depart back via Tintwhistle and the motorway before a short break at Lymm then head on home down the A55.
