How do I join?

You can join Triumph RAT by signing up on the Triumph website, click here to open the page in a new window and follow the instructions, you will also then start to receive the FREE Triumph magazine, direct from the factory for as long as you are a member.

What are RAT events/ride-outs all about?

These events/ride outs are organised so you the owner of a motorcycle can enjoy an activity in the company of like minded people. Although these events are predominately for Triumph owners, there is no problem with riders of other makes coming along to take advantage of a good day’s riding/socialising. This includes Meriden owners.

How are the ride-outs run?

You turn up on the day ready to ride, you sign a disclaimer, get a quick safety briefing, get issued a route and off you go. Remember you ride under you own insurance. You do not have to ride as a group you can ride at your own pace, just follow the route card and meet up with everybody else at the stops/breaks/pub lunches. Sometimes we may ride to a fixed event (Thundersprint, N.E.C. Museum) spend the day at the event and take a steady ride home back via a pub/cafe. Remember you can ride with a pillion so bring the wife/girlfriend/mate. This is not compulsory!

How do I find out about local events/ride-outs?

There are four ways of doing this:

  • Send an email with the subject RAT to: billdeacon@rocketmail.com. You will be sent the info by return and we will not use your address for anything else.

  • Follow the events links on these pages (Top right and bottom of this page).

  • Phone me on (07887) 674 233 during the working day.

  • Download the poster of this year's events via the icon at the below.

Remember even if you don’t make your mind up till the day of the event/ride out, give us a ring on the day and we can always leave a copy of the route at Woods Motorcycle shop for you to collect. We know how difficult it is to get out of bed on a Sunday morning!
