New for the 2010 model year! Final spec is still under wraps, but we can confirm that it is powered by an all new 1600cc parallel twin, fitted with a six speed gearbox and running a belt final drive. The new model promises and 'authentic cruising experience in a uniquely Triumph package' with the long and low chassis probiding a perfect platform for customisation. With this in mind, Triumph's official accessories team has been working in tandem with the R&D department to develop a comprehensive range of Triumph Genuine Accessories that will allow Thunderbird owners to create their own unique bike, from a stripped down street rod with performance-enhancing parts to a fully-dressed tourer with luggage and screens.

The Triumph Thunderbird will be part of the 2010 range. Expect it to arrive around Summer 2009.
