Meet the 'family'! A few snippets of info about everyone who works here at the shop.
Andrew Wood - Proprietor
Started the business in 1981, at the tender age of 18.
Test rides new and serviced machines, overseeing the various departments, and developing systems to ensure safety and efficiency. Also walks 'security' Alsatians Elle & Sara (now 13 years old) in the morning before work.
Predominently oversees day to day dealing with Ducati since 1989 and Triumph since 1992. One of the original Triumph dealers from the start of the new Hinckley operation, lives in Abergele with Aillie, Elle & Sara.
Owns a Suzuki X7 (bought when he was 17), Katana 1000, a CRF 250, XR 200 and an ST4S. Partner to Aillie for the last 22 years, now turned 50 and feeling it!
Aillie Hardman - Proprietor
Brought in to add glamour to the shop. Intellectual, articulate, but can't spell. Spends a lot of the time telling Andrew where he's going wrong, after 32 years of running the shop. Partner to Andrew.
Just retired a career as a sky-diver, occasionally comes into work.
Owns a Monster 900, which she has done 25,000 miles on and a CRF230 off road bike, entered global Enduro Africa in 2007, 2008 and rode an Enfield around North india in 2010 (don't ask about the Rotang Pass!). Was a British Team 8 way Skydiving member (all ladies) who have been placed 4th in the World Championship standings.
Previously owned bikes include an XV535 and a V75T Guzzi (no ones perfect), saved from the Runcorn, widnes area. Lives with Andrew in Abergele for the last 22 years - apparently needs a gold medal!
Gary Blanchard - Technician
25 years experience with multiple brands, joined us in January 2019 to strengthen our workshop team. A local chap, lives in Towyn, drives an Alfa Romeo, which we all approve of!
Kieran Bleach - Sales Assistant
Joined us in March 2018. When he's not working he must be just riding as he's done 80,000 miles in the last four years!

Gareth "Gaz" Davies - Sales
Joined us in March 2018 from Harley Davidson. Recently moved to Colwyn Bay from Chester.
Has a habit of changing his bikes every 6 months!
Phil "Eddie" Edwards - Technician
Phil converted from the Dark Side as a Master Technician in the car industry to become a motorcycle technician. He is slightly vertically challenged but makes up for it with his big character. He rides a BMW R1200GS, has been factory trained in Italy (Ducati) and Hinckley (Triumph). He has a full MOT license for all types of vehicles. No kids (Only dogs)
Dave Ellender - Sales
Worked with Andrew in 1994 and 1995 in the Rhuddlan road shop, then went on too look after plas newydd for the National Trust, moved onto the car world as sales and then back into motorcycle sales with us rejoining in 2014 Has multiple bikes and cars. Recently relocated from Anglesey to Abergele.
Sheryl Grant - Clothing
Sheryl is not a morning person, but loves her coffee! Maintains the Clothing section of our eBay shop.
Now fulltime in the Clothing department, responsible for uploading all our new products onto various websites and dealing with our suppliers. Lives in the centre of Abergele, along with Ronon the labrador and two cats - doesn't ride a bike...

Clive "Stig" Holland - Test Rider & IT
Clive has returned from the classic car & motorcycle trade for a third stint at Woods to once again take care of our road testing duties and a myriad of IT and sales related tasks to help free up our sales team. An avid Yamaha fan!
Alan Hunter - Parts
Runs our Parts department, and is responsible for our eBay Parts and Accessory shop.
Married to Cheryl who has a ZX6R, has a Triumph Daytona 955 himself, lives in Abergele and sometimes pedals to work across the local park. A very proud grandad!
Reached his 10 year milestone with us, just passed 60 and gives Victor Meldrew a run for his money!
Donna "Kebab" Jones - Accounts & Clothing
Controls purchase invoices, warranty credits, and a whole host of whatever I leave her to type, works hard managing all of the paper work.
Lives in Llandudno, but originally from Doncaster, the accents still there. She’s also threatened to do her bike test!
Has daughter called Megan, and lives with her partner Claude, and is not about to perish from over-excersion!
William "Will" Mollatt - Service Manager
Recently married and a complusive GSXR1000 owner, although he is currently between bikes! Orgainses our workshop diary and warranty claims.
Blake "Snakey" Parkes - Apprentice
Our latest apprentice, joined the team in 2018 and now being trained on the Triumph scheme. Rides a Suzuki TS50X.
Anna Revell - Sales
Anna came to us from the car world to initially help provide us with maternity cover in the Clothing department. She then became employed fulltime in Clothing and in 2008 moved into the Vehicle Sales department initially to help out, but in 2011 Anna joined the department as a fulltime Saleswoman. Has two children, Agatha and Harry and lives in Buckley, rides a Triumph Street Triple & a Yamaha Fazer.
Erick Rubera - Technician
Joined us in February 2019, several years dedicated Ducati experience (even longer with Kawasaki & other franchises) and two years working as a Yamaha R6 race technician in the Spanish Superstock 600 Cup. Currently owns a 90s Kawasaki ZX7R and lives in Llandulas.
Dirk Scholl - Technician
An experienced Triumph technician, has worked within the Triumph family for the last 5 years. Joined us in January 2019, again he strengthens our workshop team.
Helen Thomas - Accounts
After 39 years at the HMRC office, Helen has joined us in the Account department to look after reports and projects.
Lives in Llangernyw on a small-holding, with Chickens, Ducks, Quail and horses.
Joe "Big Joe" Tideswell - Technician
One of our first intake of apprentices in 2012. Responsible for new vehicle arrivals, pre delivery inspections and a whole host of services.
Gem - Security (& Chewing)
Elle & Sara are both now in doggie heaven, Gem came along to us at about 6 months old in January 2018, she has a really inquisitive character and is more than happy to say hello so be prepared next time you visit!
